"The pictures I create are representational. Therefore, they are intended to be meamingful. The measure of these pictures can be found in their history, both personal and referential. However, it my goal to create things which have an aesthetic worth unto themselves. In other words, that Art is a thing more important (larger and more powerful) than any given artist."
